"Uh, Oh!" said an ardent young man reading a letter.
His friend, standing near him, said, "Bad news?"
"Disturbing news, anyway," said the young man. "It's from someone who says if I don't stay away from his wife, he'll kill me."
"In that case, if I were you, I would stay away from his wife."
"Gladly, but who? The letter is anonymous."
"이런!" 한 열정적인 젊은이가 편지를 읽다가 무심결에 말했다.
같이 있던 친구가 물었다. "나쁜 소식이야?"
"심란한 소식인 건 분명하지." 젊은이가 대답했다. "어떤 사람이 나더러 자기 부인한테서 떨어지지 않으면 죽이겠다는군."
친구가 말했다. "내가 자네라면 그 사람 부인에게서 떨어지겠어."
"나도 그러고 싶은데 누군지를 알아야지? 편지가 익명으로 왔단 말이야."
