It was the last day of our vacation, and my husband informed me that he was going to get in a final game of golf.
He asked me to delay doing the laundry until after his game so that I could wash his dirty golf clothes.
As the day wore on, I became more and more impatient, visualizing an evening of drudgery.
By the time he walked through the door, relatives had already gathered to enjoy the final hours with us.
And they were shocked speechless when my first words to my husband were, "get your clothes off! I have been waiting all day."
휴가 마지막 날 남편이 골프 치러 나간다고 했다.
남편은 나가면서 더러워진 골프복을 빨아야 하니 빨래하려면 자기가 돌아오고 나서 해달라고 했다.
저녁시간을 빨래하면서 보낼 것을 생각하니 시간이 흐를수록 점점 울화가 치밀었다.
남편이 돌아왔을 무렵 친척들이 우리 부부와 함께 즐기려고 기다리고 있었다.
그런데 내가 남편에게 내뱉은 첫마디에 다들 어안이 벙벙했다. "옷 벗어요. 하루 종일 기다렸어요!"
